60`s Cafe & Diner in Lincoln City

Got seated quickly enough. Then, nobody came back to the table to take our order. Waited 15 minutes then just left.

We had been here with the previous owners and were very satisfied with our meals. Came in today and discovered it is under new ownership. That was evident when our food came. We asked for ranch and the waitress brought us "house sauce" which tasted like tartar sauce and ketchup mixed. The burger was bland, no seasoning, and tasted like it was freezer burnt or some kind of precooked frozen patty. We ordered coffee milkshakes and they tasted like over sugared whipped cream. When we brought it to the attention of our waitress she behaved like we insulted her. A $6 shake should taste like it is advertised to be. When placing our order, our waitress told us she couldn't breathe under her mask and took it off her face..just disturbing considering they just got the approval to open for dine in. When I asked for salt, she looked around, handed me a shaker and said I'm not supposed to do this but I will wipe it down later. Eat here at your own discretion

Decided to get dinner here and this place didn't let me down!Cozy outdoor seating, friendly severs and my bacon cheeseburger was heaven, tater tots were perfect.

This diner was fantastic! The gentlemen that helped us at the counter took our order to-go after this covid situation made it tough to get a table anywhere in Lincoln city that day. He got us through and out the door quickly and with a very professional, cheerful attitude. My family loves the food, especially their urgee, French fries and tator tots! I usually can't find tator tors at restaurants and theirs were perfect! We will definitely visit them again when we travel to the tide pools again!

We both got the bacon cheeseburger with crispy fries and a side of ranch. It was absolutely delicious! I've lived in Lincoln County for almost 20 years and this has got to be the best burger and fries i have had here. So happy to have found it. Nice clean restaurant with lots of memorabilia on the walls. We will definitely be back again and again.

I love the idea of this place but the experience was awful. We sat outside, got our drinks but then waited 30 minutes for anyone to come back out to take our order. The table next to us was seated after us & left before we did because they were also tired of waiting. We decided to go inside & pay for our drinks and leave. They made it right and didn’t charge us anything for the drinks since we were clearly unhappy. Their excuse was that “there was a lot going on inside, sorry.” From what we could tell, it was not busy enough to completely forget about the people outside.

On vacation in this small town and I thought it would be a great place to eat. The atmosphere was quaint and definitely 60s. I liked the decorations. However, while the food was good, it was not outstanding. Also, the service was pretty poor overall. We ordered the food and beverages, and the food came in a reasonable amount of time. BUT, we were nearly finished with the food BEFORE the drinks came! We were so thirsty. Water should have been brought immediately upon ordering. And then, to make matters worse, my friend found a hair in his burger. So yeah, while the restaurant is okay, I probably wouldn't really eat there again.

Well kept establishment with flair from times long ago. Great food and even better service, would definitely stop by again next time I'm in Oregon.

I enjoyed the food overall it was a little bland. The covid situation slowed down service a bit. I think they are trying though.

Grandson and I each had bacon cheeseburgers with fries and were adequate, but definitely would have benefited from seasoning even basic S&P. Service out front was chaotic from clearing tables to seat arrivals to separate trips for menus and again for order and yet again for water.Most concerning was observing tables cleared then wiped with generic ragNo rinsing between tables, no disinfectant process whatsoever. This was at 2:30 pm, 75% of tables open and about 2/3 occupancy inside and no one outside.

Awesome. People are even better than the food.Portions are big.No waiting in line.Fresh daily made chowder. Yum yum.Not to mention the cartoons I haven't seen since I was 10.

Ordered the club sandwich it had real roasted turkey and the ham was sliced thin, very pleased. My wife had the fish sandwich with added cheddar cheese and a tomato and it was delicious! ( Kinda wishing I would have got that instead) And the chowder was absolutely amazing!! I had a root beer float that was perfect and my wife's boozy strawberry cheesecake shake was awesome! Friendly service will definitely be back when we're in town.

Milkshakes...Amazing! Hamburgers... Outstanding (love their buns)! Service...Horrible! We had to taste our sodas to determine which was Dr. Pepper and which was Pepsi. We were served the wrong beers multiple times. No refills on drinks were offered. Only two people in our party of eight received the correct order. Server apologized (once) but she didn't seem to be too bothered by our experienpce.

Very friendly and fast service. The sandwich was very good. Could not eat it all.

Went there for breakfast with my husband on a weekend away. We normally love the diner atmosphere. Everything was fine until a cockroach showed itself in the wall near our food!! We immediately lost our appetite. We notified the waitress who said that she would tell the owner. They still made us pay for our food that we hardly touched. Just horrible customer service. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Food was pretty good. The blue cheese for the burger was amazing. Service was bad though. Sat down and got drinks immediately. Then watched as 3 other tables sat down and got their orders taken before us. Ended up waiting about an hour for 2 burgers and a sandwich

Our waitress seemed to have an attitude. She took the orders of several people who walked in after us leaving us waiting a very long time. Expect greasy when you eat here. Even the hot sandwiches are very greasy. The diner is adorable and the atmosphere is nice. The service may be better depending on the staff.

Super chaotic from the second you walk in. They’re operating at half capacity, sure wouldnt like to see it at full. We ordered at 7 didn’t get anything by 8 and paid for drinks and left. Ordered garlic bread, wings, chickens tenders, and a burger. At 750 we were getting super antsy when waitress brought us the wrong appetizer. Oh boy, we gave it 10 more minutes then the table next to us said they were leaving so we joined them. Communication would have saved both tables or toasting some bread!

Never tried the food. It may be good, but the service is so bad that we left. Went inside and waited at least 5 minutes at the "Please wait to be seated" sign until someone noticed us. They asked how many in our party and told us to go outside and sit in the outdoor seating area. 10 -15 minutes later a server went outside and saw us. He said we shouldn't seat ourselves and said he would be back. He was pretty rude. After 15 minutes of absolutely no service we left. This is the first negative review I have ever given a restaurant, but the service was so bad. This happened today, 6/23/20 at around 3:30

Staff is polite ... but shows very bad management here. They don’t know at all what they are doing. wait was an hour at half capacity / cooks not wearing gloves/. Shakes and food where good.

Excellent food... great shakes... awesome service. I absolutely recommend going here. I have gone here several times over the last 15 years and have never had a bad experience and the food had always been on point. Best Reuben and coleslaw in town!

To get a simple drink took forever! And running while at only half capacity right now and still taking long is just ridiculous can’t imagine them even functioning at full capacity. We never even got our food just decided to leave due to the lack of customer service we ordered breakfast and kept waiting and while we waited they were getting lunch orders out but they weren’t getting breakfast out.

I couldn't believe how fast the food - hash browns, corned beef hash, and eggs were prepared. And it was very good. Ashley was very pleasant and made me feel right at home. I look forward to going back in the future.

1st time here could not be more disappointed Service was horrible it's only a 50% capacity and it was just a 2 person table In the took almost an hour to get our food. The tension in that place is highThe way the cooks were treating the waitresses almost had one in tears. Honestly for $52 go somewhere else this places isn't worth your time and if management reads this You need to do something about employee relations and quality control.

Food is typical diner type. Burger was mediocre, tots were not great either. They tout the best burgers in Lincoln City, I don't agree. There are better burgers at the other end of town right on "101". Milk shake are adequate but they use flavorings, not real fruit (like bananas). Would not eat there again.

This place has been a great go to for the past few years. The. Food is amazing and I love the vibe if the diner. You can sit outside which is great and the decor inside is a sight ti see.

What a gem! The atmosphere is so fun and the food is A-MAZING! Reasonable prices too! Such a fun experience! Their Tashbrowns are genius! We will be back for sure!

Great food. Like some of the best burgers you can get. Good variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic milkshakes. Staff are all super friendly and the atmosphere of the place is amazing.

Repeat customer , this is the third visit ! The food is always fresh staff is very friendly but often understaffed . The food is consistently of great quality. We always leave the 60’s Cafe and Diner satisfied.

This place is so great!! My friend and I are on our way from Seattle to LA and stopped in for some delicious food. I left my wallet there and Richard, a server, went out of his way to drive my lost wallet to me out of town. Not only does this place have good food, but they have really great humans on staff as well. Thanks again!!

Finally went in today for a philly cheesesteak and some curly fries to go. The woman who took our order was super friendly. That atmosphere was cute and they had lots of cute things for sale at good prices: hoodies, t-shirts, growlers, and more. The food was delicious and still hot by the time I made it home. I will definitely go back.

We've waited over an hour for mediocre food at best. None of the staff came to check on us while we were dining. We were moved from one table to another because we were too close. Shortly after they sat another family of four in the exact same spot. I received no silverware for my salad and I've been sitting waiting for the check for 15 minutes already.

I had the cod with chowder, it was some of the best Cod I have ever had!Chowerwas good and thick, and clammy. Last week I brought some one here on a day trip, I had BLT. It too, was good.I will be a frequent guest here each trip to Lincoln City Oregon.

Yummy ice cream, shakes and floats! Food looked amazing...going back when super hungry.

Nice people, great food but service was pretty much non existent this time. The first time i came here was close to 8 years ago, it was much better then.

Awesome vide in here. Elvis burger is unlike any burger I have had and was excellent. Requires patience if busy. Just make sure to flag someone down when your waiting to be seated or they may miss ya and not get to you. Other than that it was great vibes and great milkshake and burgers. Definitely coming back next time we drive through Lincoln city

Seriously, not exaggerating, the absolute BEST Hamburger of my life!Ordered the “Elvis Hawaii Burger” I could not believe how delicious it was.It was huge, everything fresh everyday, nothing frozen. We are talking the juiciest thick hamburger patty, with ham, tomato, Swiss cheese, lettuce & a big slice of juicy pineapple all sitting pretty between 2, soft, fresh, delectable hamburger buns. I savored each & every delicious bite. It was so big I had to take half of it home. Looking forward to lunch tomorrow! 😜🤗😏Next on my agenda... Trying on of their many milkshake flavors. My rating for 60’s Cafe ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Outstanding food, Great service, Perfect atmosphere. Best burger ever! They use a mixture of beef, brisket, and rib meat. I had the John Wayne O ring burger with bacon. Fabulous! Also amazing hand made shakes and every drink you could imagine including mixed drinks and adult milkshakes. Great service too! Definitely worth a visit!

Ordered a chili burger, and fries. Both came out and were cold. The burger was below average and the chili didn't make it much better. The calm chowder was tasty. Our server was polite but not attentive. We had to walk up the counter for a few items to ask for things a second time. The building was nice and there is enough to look at.

By far the best food I have had on my trip I’m normally a picking eater when it comes to hamburgers. So I was very happy with my John Wayne BBQ burgers. And my bacon cheeseburger was amazing. Highly recommended this place to anyone coming to visit the beach. Definitely will come back.

Good atmosphere and food is pretty good had the Elvis Hawaiian burger. Clam chowder and chilli. It was really good. Worth the stop.. Look at the pictures on the wall many are signed by the 60's artists and actors..

Always a favorite place to eat when we are visiting. The staff is friendly and attentive, the food is good, and love the boozy shakes. Also, the old time cartoons and shows playing are always a favorite, if not only for a conversation starter. Love the options for memorabilia are fun to shop through as well. It is not fancy, but well worth a good meal.
